Music at St. Anne's

There is something for everyone at St. Anne’s Music Program!
Look through the list below and choose the group that is right for you.
Adult Choir: Open to college age and above. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:30– 9:15 p.m. This choir sings every Sunday for the 10:30am service from September through May and also for special services. They participate in the Diocesan Choir festival and are accompanied by members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at our Christmas and Easter services.
Handbell Choir: Open to high school age and above. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:15-8:30 p.m. The Choir plays approximately one Sunday a month for the 10:30am service and for some special services.
Youth Choir: Open to 6th –12th graders. Rehearsals are the first and third Sundays of the month from 6-8:00pm with pizza served at 6:00pm. This choir develops the singers’ abilities to sing in parts and to perform more difficult repertoire than the Junior Choir. They sing once a month for the 10:30am service and also for special services. The year ends in May with Choir Awards Sunday and a choir trip.
Junior Choir: Open to 2nd-5th graders. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. This group focuses on developing the children’s vocal skills, as well as their music reading abilities, through the use of handbells and various percussion instruments. The year ends in April with Choir Awards Sunday and a choir trip.
Primary Choir: Open to children in Kindergarten (5 years old by September 1st) and 1st graders. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 4:30-5:15pm. This group focuses on the enjoyment of basic music skills through songs, rhythm, and movement, and the use of percussion instruments. They sing for the 10:30am service every other month and for special services. The year ends in April with Choir Awards Sunday and a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.
