Missions and Outreach
St. Anne's focuses on these areas of need: Homelessness, hunger, health care, international prison/drug treatment, Perry Homes, education and other ministries, elderly and the environment.
The following is a description of some of the ministries supported:
Habitat for Humanity - Saint Anne's participates in a yearly Habitat build with our Interfaith Partnership group of 6, churches, one Synagogue, the Atlanta Union Mission, and the Northwest/Perry Homes Cluster.
To be a volunteer you do not need any special skills other than a great attitude and a strong belief in helping less fortunate people reach their dream of home ownership.

Nicholas House is a shelter for homeless families. Meals are prepared and delivered two weeks out of each year.
Jerusalem House is a home for people with AIDS. Volunteers visit and help assist residents in meeting their needs.
Clifton Night Shelter is a shelter for homeless men. Volunteers help serve meals to the guests.
St. Theresa House is a home for the physically/mentally needy. Volunteers work on various maintenance tasks around the facility and periodically serve meals to the guests.
Feed The Hungry is a yearly project to deliver Christmas meals to people in the Perry Homes area.
Open Door Community helps feed and house the homeless.
Hospital Albert Schweitzer is a Haitian hospital where a physician in the parish volunteers for a period of time each year to perform many needed surgeries on children.
Emmaus House is an outreach program of the Diocese of Atlanta. It is located in People's Town a few blocks from Turner Field. They provide afternoon tutorials and programs for the children in the the area, as well as a poverty rights office and a parish for families. Click here to see the latest wish list.
Church of the Holy Comforter is located in East Atlanta. They are a parish whose specific outreach is to the mentally challenged individuals in the area. If you would like to see the many Volunteer Opportunities, click here.
Kids4Peace Atlanta - St. Anne's is involved in an interfaith, cultural exchange between children from Jerusalem and Atlanta. We spend a week together at Camp Mikell each summer. Our hope is by exploring the differences and similarities between their cultures and faiths these children will take a step toward global understanding and peace.
